American musician-songwriter Steven Tyler has started a stint at a rehab facility to deal with addiction problems, according to reports.

New York, May 22 : American musician-songwriter Steven Tyler has started a stint at a rehab facility to deal with addiction problems, according to reports.

Best known as the lead singer of the Boston-based rock band 'Aerosmith', Tyler checked into the Pasadena, California, facility on Wednesday.

An online report on TMZ.com reveals that Tyler has entered the same facility where VH1's 'Celebrity Rehab' was filmed.

The 60-year-old star is seeking help for substance abuse, reports the New York Daily News.

This is not the firs time that Tyler is being treated for addiction, for his bandmates had pressured him to enter rehab in 1986 also for substance abuse.

A representative for Tyler declined comment.
