George Harrisons widow has unveiled the special garden that she created in memory of the former Beatle at Britains Chelsea Flower Show.

London, May 20 : George Harrison's widow has unveiled the special garden that she created in memory of the former Beatle at Britain's Chelsea Flower Show.

Olivia said that the labour of love had brought her much closer to her late husband, who died of cancer in 2001, aged 58.

"I can't think of a more joyful thing to do for George. I know he'd approve. He was a passionate gardener," The Sun quoted Olivia, as saying.

Bandmate Ringo Starr, was one of the first visitors to the show, with its sepia print of George framed in cascading water.

The Queen met Olivia as she explored the Chelsea Flower Show and stopped to admire the tribute.

She spent several minutes chatting with Mrs Harrison and designer Yvonne Innes who created the garden.

"It was nice. I feel really honoured," Olivia said.

Chris Tarrant and Anne Robinson were among the celebrities who attended the opening of the famous London show.
