Simon Cowells first kiss revealed on American Idol

Simon Cowell was left blushing after a woman called him up during American Idol to say shed been his first kiss.

London, May 2 : Simon Cowell was left blushing after a woman called him up during American Idol to say she'd been his first kiss.

The talent show judge got flustered with embarrassment when a woman called Tara from Radlett, Herts, revealed that it was her who first puckered up to him.

Cowell then turned pink when he confirmed that the woman was telling the truth.

Tara McDonald-Smith, 46, whose maiden name was Miller, a single mum with three sons, now living in California, narrated the childhood incident in front of the audience.

"He'd taken me to the bottom of his garden. It was very cute and it was very memorable. We were just kids. We didn't know what we were doing! We used to play Spin the Bottle and I got him a lot of the time. It was all good. I hope I didn't embarrass him," she recalled.

Tara, jokingly added: "I'd love to meet up with him. I seriously would. We were good friends. I think it would be great fun. It's OK. I've had a lot of therapy. I'm doing very well."

And when the show ended, Simon, said: "That was officially the strangest show we've ever done."
