Washington, Mar 7 : Michelle Rodriguez has signed up to reprise her role in the fourth instalment of the 'The Fast and the Furious' franchise.
The 'Lost' will join other original cast members Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Jordana Brewster from the first instalment, released in 2001, reports Contactmusic.
The film will reportedly follow a similar path as the other movies, with Walker's character infiltrating a drug gang, where Diesel joins him, with large amounts of high-powered cars street racing inevitably ensuing.
Justin Lee, who helmed the third instalment, 'The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift,' is set to direct and the script is to be penned by Chris Morgan, who also worked on Tokyo Drift.
'Fast and the Furious 4' is slated for release next summer.
