English guitarist and founding member of the Rolling Stones Keith Richards has stated that band mate Ronnie Wood has made up much of his recent autobiography.

Washington, Mar 04 : English guitarist and founding member of the Rolling Stones Keith Richards has stated that band mate Ronnie Wood has made up much of his recent autobiography.

Richards was amused by some of the stories that had been penned down, especially one where Wood admits to threatening him with a firearm, for he's sure that the incident never took place.

"(It's) about 50 per cent off. I read some of the serialisation (of Wood's book) in the papers last year. It stands up, but not very well, against (former band mate) Bill Wyman's book," Contactmusic quoted Richards as telling British magazine Uncut.

"I don't want to listen to that c**p. Ronnie is a big mouth. I love him dearly, but he's a flip-flap. I mean, I can never remember Ronnie pulling a gun on me," he stated.

"Some of these stories were so out of the picture that I just gave up and laughed," he added.
