If they sign on, Ray Liotta, Carrie-Anne Moss, Julie Bowen and Kelsey Grammer will join Allen in the film.
Allen will be directing from a script penned by Judd Pillot and John Peaslee, reports Variety.
The independently financed flick is an adult-themed comedy that will have the actor playing a parolee who finds life outside a prison cell to be much crazier once he enters his quirky sister's world.
Brian Reilly, Brett Gregory, Richard Baker and Anastasia Stanecki have come on board as producers with Justin Moritt on as exec producer.
'Crazy on the Outside' is set for a March shoot in Los Angeles.
