Rimmel dismiss Moss axing reports

UK cosmetics giant Rimmel has dismissed rumours that the company is considering axing supermodel Kate Mosss the face of the brand.

Washington, March 28 : UK cosmetics giant Rimmel has dismissed rumours that the company is considering axing supermodel Kate Mosss the face of the brand.

Recent reports suggested that the make-up firm is all set to drop the catwalk queen and sign up a younger model.

Moss' possible replacements were being named as James Bond star Gemma Arterton and British TV presenter Alexa Chung.

Moss has been the spokesmodel for Rimmel since 2001 and has featured in all the company's high profile advertising campaigns.

However, company bosses have slammed the reports, maintaining that Moss will continue to be the face of their products."Kate remains the face of Rimmel London and will continue to appear in campaigns for the foreseeable future," Contactmusic quoted Rimmel spokeswoman, Emmanuelle Bonte, as saying.

"Rimmel London has no plans to replace Kate. We are very happy with the collaboration," she added.
