Washington, Mar 27 : American actress Nicollette Sheridan has put down rumours that she is being fired from the 'Desperate Housewives' show at the end of its fifth season.
Rumours about sexy 44-year-old Sheridan being shown the door started through the Internet, where claims of her being fired and her character Edie Britt being killed off circulated.
However, Sheridan has put down the rumours, insisting that her character is getting readied for some explosive storylines, hinting that she will be the only star left in the sitcom.
"Please! Edie's going to be causing trouble. The house hags have done terrible, terrible things to Edie," Contactmusic quoted her as telling U.S. TV show Extra.
"There will only be one moment of true revenge when all of them are gone, and Edie remains!" she added.
