Washington, Mar 24 : American rock singer Courtney Love is eager for a more sedate kind of lifestyle, and wants to leave her hectic life in "dirty" L.A. behind to settle in the English countryside.
Love has been house hunting in the Brit capital, and has even viewed Kate Moss' 7 million dollars north London apartment. However she decided that the apartment was not really her type of dwelling.
The reason the 43-year-old 'Hole' singer wants to settle in the U.K. is because she finds it to be a much healthier place to bring up her 15-year-old daughter Frances Bean, with late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
"I am fed up with Los Angeles. It's dirty and full of crazy people. I want a complete lifestyle change. People criticise Britain but it is still a cleaner, safer place to live than Hollywood," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"I don't want to live in the city. I love the greenery and the freshness of the countryside. It is just a healthier place for me to be. I've been house-hunting seriously and I'll know as soon as I find the perfect place," she added.
Love was recently spotted looking at properties around the 10 million dollars range in the plush area of Sunningdale in Berkshire, south-east England.
It is an area that is often referred to as the Royal County of Berkshire because of the royal residence Windsor Castle's location in the county, and also because Britain's Prince Andrew owns a mansion in Sunningdale.
