Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Kimora Lee Simmons have shot down rumours that theyve been recruited into the Church of Scientology.

New York, mar 18 : Will Smith, Jada Pinkett and Kimora Lee Simmons have shot down rumours that they've been recruited into the Church of Scientology.

Smith, a friend of star Scientologist Tom Cruise, denies being a member of the controversial religion.

"You don't have to be Jewish to be a friend of Steven Spielberg. You don't have to be a Muslim to be a friend of Muhammad Ali. And you don't have to be a Scientologist to be a friend of Tom Cruise," the New York Daily News quoted Smith, as saying.

"I am a Christian. I am a student of all religions. And I respect all people and all paths," he added.

Simmons is rumoured to have distributed the Scientology book 'The Way to Happiness' to N.Y. school kids but her denied her involvement with the church.
