Swayze undergoing experimental treatment to beat his cancer

American actor Patrick Swayze, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer, is said to be undergoing experimental treatment to save his life.

London, Mar 13 : American actor Patrick Swayze, who is suffering from pancreatic cancer, is said to be undergoing experimental treatment to save his life.

The 55-year-old 'Dirty Dancing' star is "determined to beat" the illness, and is enduring weekly chemotherapy combined with a new drug, according to family members.

"It breaks my heart to know he's suffering," the Sun quoted his mother Patsy as saying.

"But he bears it. He's hanging in there and getting the best treatment he can. He doesn't deserve to get this. He's got such a big heart," she added.

Patrick lives with his wife Lisa on their ranch in New Mexico. His pals reported that his weight has plummeted, leaving him gaunt and pale, following the treatment sessions at California's Stanford University.
