Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has made up her mind to stay in hospital until her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is released from jail.

Washington, Jun 30 : Troubled singer Amy Winehouse has made up her mind to stay in hospital until her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is released from jail.

Winehouse had earlier been hospitalized after she collapsed at her London home earlier this month (16Jun08), and was diagnosed with traces of the deadly lung disease emphysema.

Her health condition at that time was not so bad, so she left the clinic during the weekend to perform at a London tribute concert to Nelson Mandela on Friday (27Jun08) and at the annual music festival Glastonbury on Saturday night (28Jun08).

The Rehab singer had returned to hospital on Sunday (29Jun08) and has been there since, refusing to leave until her incarcerated husband is freed.

Fielder-Civil was jailed and is now on remand awaiting sentencing for grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice following an attack on a pub landlord.

"She likes it (at the clinic) and feels more secure. She doesn't have any worries while she is in there," Contactmusic quoted her mother, Janis, as saying.
