London, June 13 : A complaint over a bottle of wine is what made Jackie Chan get drunk at his dad's funeral, it has emerged.
The martial arts star lost his father in March and flew him to Canberra in Australia to bury him alongside his mother, who died six years earlier.
However, Chan was so angry that his father had never drunk the costly wine he'd bought as a gift that he drunk the lot.
"I was so angry. All the wine I gave my father, he didn't drink. All those years... I'm so angry about him!" The Sun quoted him, as saying.
"My father, my mom, whatever I buy for them, they save. So after I bury my father that day, that night, I go to the wine cellar. I look at it all and say, "Why did he keep all the wine?"
"I take all the wine, with all my friends and open them, every one, 'Don't open!' they said. 'Why not open?' I said, 'Open it!' Then I open it all and drink and drink and cry and drink and cry," he added.
