Dustin Hoffman reveals his first meeting with gawky Angelina Jolie

When Dustin Hoffman met this gawky, awkward teenager on the sets of his film Hook years ago, he didnt have any clue that she will become one of the worlds sexiest women - Angelina Jolie.

Washington, June 10 : When Dustin Hoffman met this gawky, awkward teenager on the sets of his film 'Hook' years ago, he didn't have any clue that she will become one of the world's sexiest women - Angelina Jolie.

It was when the 'Tomb Raider' actress used to be a big fan of the Peter Pan story in her childhood days that her father Jon Voight, asked the Midnight Cowboy co-star for a favour and invited himself and his kids onto the set of the 1991 Steven Spielberg film.

However, the veteran actor, who played Captain Hook in the movie version of J.M. Barrie's classic story, never thought that he'd one day be working with the same girl who his friend brought to meet him.

And now, Hoffman is co-starring with the 33-year-old actress in their new film 'Kung Fu Panda'.

"This film was the second time I met her. The first time was on Hook and Jon Voight whom I worked with on Midnight Cowboy called me up on the set and said, 'My kids are dying to meet Captain Hook. Can I come over?'" Contactmusic quoted Hoffman, as saying.

"So he brings over his kids, he comes in the camper and I'm introduced to his son and then to his daughter.

"She was a tall, thin, gawky looking girl with a mouthful of braces. I asked them, 'Do you guys have any idea what you want to do when you grow up?' She gave me an intense laser look and said, 'I'm going to be an actress!'" he added.
