London, June 1 : Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal wants to have kids with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon, it has emerged.
'The Day After Tomorrow' star has been dating Witherspoon for a year and is apparently getting set to pop the question.
"Jake knows he might be jumping the gun thinking of kids, but he knows that Reese is the one," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.
"He laughs and says he needs to propose and do this the right way. It really is first comes love, then comes marriage. As cheesy as that sounds, it's the way he thinks!" the source added.
The 'Legally Blonde' actress has two children by ex-husband Ryan Phillippe and according to reports Jake treats Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, as his own.
The duo started dating after meeting on the set of the thriller Rendition.
"Reese has admitted that Jake has grown from when they first met into this very dependable dad type. He's ready to have his whole life change," said the source.
