Pop princess Kylie Minogue has been named Britains Favourite Celebrity.

London, July 7 : Pop princess Kylie Minogue has been named 'Britain's Favourite Celebrity.'

The Aussie singer won the hearts of the nation with her brave battle breast cancer and her remarkable recovery was capped last week when she collected an OBE from Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace, reports the Mirror.

The 40-year-old has beaten legendary television presenter Terry Wogan to land the top sot in a poll by the Internet market research firm www.onepoll.com.

'Strictly Come Dancing' host Bruce Forsyth, 80, came third while retired chat show host Michael Parkinson, 73, stood fourth.

Rounding off the top five was 'Vicar of Dibley' star Dawn French, 50.
