Alicia Keys and Jack White have teamed up to record the first ever Bond theme duet for the 22nd Bond movie Quantum of Solace.
London, July 30 : Alicia Keys and Jack White have teamed up to record the first ever Bond theme duet for the 22nd Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace'.
According to the grapevine, Keys is more than excited to work with the artistic 'White Stripes' singer White.
Keys had previously said that she would love to work with the band.
"They're very raw, very cut and dry, It's, like, drums and guitar. It's that simple, and I love that," E! Online quoted Keys, as saying.
"I think that combining that style with mine, which already has a raw feel to it, and my voice, I just think we could do something really interesting that mixes rock and soul together, the blues and emotion, and it could be really touching," Keys added.
Jack White, who is one of the most enigmatic figures in music and has popularly been branded the 'modern American Renaissance man', will also be playing drums in the upcoming Bond theme song.
Apparently U.K. Popstars Leona Lewis and Duffy were being considered for the theme song before the job fell into the hands of White and Keys.
