Charlize Theron has dismissed reports that a movie is to be made on her life.

Washington, July 3 : Charlize Theron has dismissed reports that a movie is to be made on her life.

Theron had experienced a very harrowing childhood, having watched her mother shoot dead her abusive father when she was just five-years-old.

When she was just a teenager she moved to America, where at the age of 18 a movie talent scout discovered her. The reason she was noticed was because of the tantrum she threw in a bank.

Now after fourteen years, she has two Oscar nominations and one Best Actress win, and is one of the biggest earning stars in Hollywood.

But the actress is very much determined that her life story would never be made public or turned into a big screen production.

"God, I hope not. I've been working harder than anything in my life to try and keep my life sacred," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

"I really don't mind when I'm in front of a camera and playing a character I'm comfortable with... but I don't necessarily like the spotlight to be about me - not at all. The idea of sitting in Cannes and watching that... ugh. No," she added.
