New Delhi, July 2 : Actress Salma Hayek is reportedly planning to splash out a whopping 3.5 million dollars on a dream 'Cinderella' wedding when she says 'I Do' to fiance Francois-Henri Pinault.
According to China Daily, a source told the National Enquirer magazine that Hayek's French businessman fiance was willing to spend as much moolah as it took to make sure his bride has the wedding she's always dreamt of when they wed in France next spring.
"It took Francois over a year to get Salma to agree to marry him, and he doesn't want to spare any expense. Francois basically gave her the key to the vault and said, 'Go wild.' Salma has dreamed her whole life about a Cinderella wedding," the source told the mag.
The actress is believed to have ordered a 500,000 dollar customised wedding gown created by Nicolas Ghesquiere, the man who also designed Nicole Kidman's wedding dress.
Not to be left behind in the style stakes will be the couple's daughter Valentina, who will be dressed in a handmade 50,000 dollar gown.
As for the other arrangement, well Pinault and Hayek reportedly plan to fly in 400 guests on private jets to a chateau near St. Tropez where they are planning celebrations that will last five days.
The couple are certainly going the extra mile, arranging for Beluga caviar, fresh lobster and Kobe beef from Japan for their guests to dine on, and the finest French and Italian wines and champagne to sip.
"The ceremony and the reception will be off the charts. The flower budget alone is almost a million dollars. Guests will eat Beluga caviar, fresh lobster and Kobe beef from Japan. They will enjoy the finest French and Italian wines and champagne. The total food budget for food and alcohol is more than $1 million," the source said.
Another thing that the guests can look forward to is some sumptuous wedding cake, for Pinault and Hayek have reportedly put in the order for a seven-tier wedding cake costing around 100,000 dollars.
