It seems John Mayer cant let go of the memories from his past relationships.

New York, July 10 : It seems John Mayer can't let go of the memories from his past relationships.

The singer's latest girlfriend, 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston recently found "a batch" of love letters from his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson in his guitar case. fter seeing the mushy letters, Aniston was left furious but more than that she was hurt, says a source.

"Jennifer was more hurt than angry at the discovery," the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.

"The letters surprisingly were very touching and well written," the source added.

Aniston appeared to be fine after Mayer smoothed things over, the source said.

The actress' rep, however, called the tale "completely fabricated."
