Washington, Jan 4 : High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that she's recovering from her nude photo scandal, after going through an extremely 'traumatic' phase.
The 18-year-old's racy private photographs were posted on the Internet last year in September.
"It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions," Usmagazine.com quoted her, as saying. However, the actress said that she is now slowly getting her strength back.
"I'm much better now. But truthfully I don't like talking about it," she said.
"It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn't anymore, I'd still like to keep it as private as I can," she added.
Hudgens also thanked her mother for supporting her throughout the ordeal.
"I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, 'Well, everyone can be naked if they want to. My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I'm a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes," she said.
