American actress Diane Keaton wants U.S. car manufacturers to develop a hybrid vehicle.

Washington, Jan 30 : American actress Diane Keaton wants U.S. car manufacturers to develop a hybrid vehicle.

The reason for the vehicle being a hybrid is so that she can be patriotic and kind to the environment at the same time.

Keaton, who has vowed to always buy American automobiles when she can, was shocked to find that there are no big manufacturers who are developing cleaner automobiles instead of the gas infused motors.

"I have two cars. I feel like I have to go hybrid. I just feel like I need to buy or lease an American car. I feel that General Motors and Ford need a boost, and I feel that if I'm paying customer I should get a hybrid," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
