Washington, Jan 3 : It seems that former Wings bandmates Sir Paul McCartney and Denny Laine have buried the hatchet and rekindled their 30-year-old friendship.
Laine, who was the lead-vocalist of classic sixties Moody Blues hit 'Go Now' and the founder of Wings with Macca in the seventies, posted a picture on his Myspace internet page with the former Beatle star.
The picture of the re-united pair, who co-wrote the smash hit 'Mull Of Kintyre', was reportedly taken last month backstage at a UB40 concert at London's Wembley Arena.
The pair fell out when Wings' tour of Japan in January 1980 got cancelled, after McCartney was arrested at the airport for marijuana possession.
Later, in what had seemed to be an attack on Macca, Laine released a song 'Japanese Tears'.
Laine hit a bad-patch when he filed for bankruptcy in the mid-eighties and sold his lucrative co-publishing rights of chart-topper 'Mull Of Kintyre' to McCartney.
As for the recent pictures, a spokesperson for McCartney has denied to comment on the reunion.
