Washington, Jan 28 : The epic spoof 'Meet the Spartans' edged out Sylvester Stallone's 'Rambo' to nab the top spot in the weekend box office.
While the 20th Century Fox film took in an estimated 18.7 million dollars in its weekend debut, 'Rambo' took in 18.2 million dollars, reports E! Online.
In third place on the list complied by Exhibitor Relations was '27 Dresses,' which raked in 13.6 million dollars.
Fourth highest grosser was 'Cloverfield,' with an earning of 12.7 million dollars and fifth was 'Untraceable' that raked in 11.2 million dollars.
