London, Jan 25 : Britney Spears' beau Adnan Ghalib has insisted that the pop star is neither crazy nor suicidal.
In an interview on US TV, the 35-year-old photographer said that Britney would never harm herself or her kids because she loves them more than anything else.
He said Spears was upset after a court suspended her rights to see her two young sons - one-year-old Jayden James and two-year-old Sean Preston - following a stand-off with police at her home earlier this month which led to her being admitted to hospital for observation.
Ghalib insisted the 26-year-old singer was not suicidal and was 'no different from any other mum.'
"She was afraid. It's just helplessness, loss of control. It doesn't make you crazy," The Sun quoted Ghalib, as saying.
"She's no different from any mum. She needs them," he added.
