Mary-Kate Olsen was told about actor Heath Ledgers death even before the police.
Melbourne, Jan 24 : Mary-Kate Olsen was told about actor Heath Ledger's death even before the police.
The masseuse who found the Aussie star's body on Jan 22 called Olsen twice using Ledger's phone before dialling 911, the emergency service number of the US.
According to the New York Post, Diane Lee Wolozin told Olsen during the first call: "Heath is unconscious, I don't know what to do!"
She then called moments later saying: "I think he may be dead. I'm calling 911!"
A police source confirmed that Wolozin had used Ledger's mobile to call Olsen as she knew they were friends.
According to the source, Olsen then told the masseuse to call some private security people she knew in Manhattan.
A few minutes later, at 3.26pm Wolozin, thinking that actor's condition was worse than it appeared, called 911.
At 3.33pm ambulance officers and Olsen's security personnel arrived.
Subsequent attempts to revive Ledger with a defibrillator and CPR failed and he was pronounced dead at 3.36pm.
