Amy Winehouse to duet with Mark Ronson at Brit awards

English singer Amy Winehouse is expected to perform alongside English music producer Mark Ronson at the Brit awards.

Washington, Jan 20 : English singer Amy Winehouse is expected to perform alongside English music producer Mark Ronson at the Brit awards.

Ronson has been selected for the best British single award for Valerie, on which Winehouse sings lead vocals.

The duo, who have never performed Valerie together live, are to perform the Zutons cover at the awards on February 20th.

'Valerie' is Amy's biggest-ever chart hit after reaching number two last year.

"Amy adores the song, but although she sings it at all her shows, she and Mark have never done it together. Amy can't wait," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling the Daily Mirror.

"Amy was queen of the Brits last year and there was a real desire to see her at this year's ceremony. But when she couldn't even be nominated, all hope slipped away - until Mark begged her to be a part of proceedings.

"Amy's the artist that everyone wants to see. Organisers are over the moon that it looks set to happen, especially live on ITV1 in front of millions," the source added.

Along with best single, Ronson has also been nominated for best British album for Version and best British male solo artist.
