Jordans crusade against horse cruelty

Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has hit out at a farm owner after the locals of the area reported that the man had killed horses and donkeys for fun by dragging them behind a pick-up truck.

London, Jan 20 : Katie Price a.k.a Jordan has hit out at a farm owner after the locals of the area reported that the man had killed horses and donkeys for fun by dragging them behind a pick-up truck.

More than 100 animals have been reportedly found dead or dying at Spindles Farm in the village of Hyde Heath, Bucks.

Owner Jamie Gray is now being probed by the RSPCA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

The glamour model, who owns six horses herself, was sickened by reports that Gray's actions may have resulted in the deaths of thousands of animals over 20 years.

"The way those poor horses and donkeys have been treated is nothing short of barbaric. Gray deserves to be shot for the torture and pain he has inflicted on them," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

"These pitiful creatures were totally reliant on a monster for their health and safety.

"He abused their trust and the RSPCA should launch a nationwide poster campaign with his mugshot on it so everyone knows who this scumbag is," she added.

She also said that she would be contacting the RSPCA in order to urge them to take a more stern action against Gray.

"As soon as I get back home, I'll be contacting the RSPCA to see how I can help out and I urge others to do the same," she said.

The horrors of Spindles Farm should prompt us all to be more vigilant when it comes to the protection of animals. Anything suspicious should be reported to the RSPCA immediately," she added.
