Stallone and Schwarzenegger are best buds now

After competing at the box office for years, actors Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are now best pals.

Washington, Jan 19 : After competing at the box office for years, actors Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are now best pals.

Stallone revealed that their friendship flourished after Schwarzenegger became Governor of California in 2003.

The 'Rocky' star said that they now meet every Saturday to smoke cigars and discuss how to run California.

"At one time Arnold and I were like Sodom and Gomorrah, Cane and Abel, very competitive. After he became governor we started to build this relationship," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"We'd go to this place called Cafe Rome and smoke cigars, then they banned smoking, so the governor and I were in an alley stealing a few puffs talking about how to balance the budget.

"Now we meet every Saturday. He saw the first version of (new sequel) John Rambo. How ironic, the guy who used to be my competition. He really loved it," he added.
