A close friend of Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z has dismissed reports that the couple are married.

Washington, Jan 19 : A close friend of Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z has dismissed reports that the couple are married.

Jay-Z is said to have married Knowles in a secret ceremony held at designer Giorgio Armani's mansion in Paris, France, last month (Dec07).

Reports claimed the superstar couple opted to avoid the traditional exchange of wedding bands in favour of discreet tattoos of the Roman numeral 'IV' on their ring fingers, with the claims supported by photo evidence of the small inkings.

It has also been alleged that Knowles is pregnant with the rappers child, however, a member of Jay-Z's staff has dismissed the claims.

"The reports are not true," Contactmusic quoted the member, as telling AllHipHop.com.

All claims that have been made have so far not been proven, and representatives for the couple have been forced time and again to put an end to the rumours of marriage.
