Mitch has revealed that Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently locked up in London's Pentonville Prison on charges of perverting the course of justice, is tired of fighting with the singer and has threatened to end the relationship legally.
Fielder-Civil is reportedly furious about Amy's Caribbean holiday with her ex-beau George Roberts.
And, recently, the 'Rehab' singer was spotted partying with her record label boss Mark Ronson, generating reports of a possible affair.
Now, Mitch is afraid that Blake is planning to divorce his daughter.
According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, the singer's father has accused Fielder-Civil's mum for encouraging a split.
"Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row. Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said," Contactmusic quoted Mitch, as telling British magazine Grazia.
"I think Georgette (Fielder-Civil's mother) wants them to divorce, but it's up to them. From Amy's point of view, she would stick by him not matter what. But he has said things like, `I want a divorce,'" he added.
