According to an insider, the Grammy bosses were keen on having Amy perform but the 24-year-old singer has already informed them that she is facing some difficulties in getting a visa.
"The Grammys desperately wanted to book her to perform at the ceremony, but she has told them she can't get a visa," the New York Daily News quoted the insider, as saying.
According to the sources, her public drug habit is the reason why U.S. authorities are reluctant to give her a visa.
"The visa problem is definitely drugs," says a Grammy insider.
