Ben Kingsley hates stink, noise from neighbouring pig farm

Sir Ben Kingsley does not like the cacophony of animal sounds and the stink coming from a pig farm in his neighbourhood.

Washington, January 17 : Sir Ben Kingsley does not like the cacophony of animal sounds and the stink coming from a pig farm in his neighbourhood.

The Oscar-winning actor lives just next to a pig farm in the picturesque Cotswolds, a range of hills in west-central England.

"They stink (and) every time they're herded together it sounds like a mass murder; they squeal. It's frightening," Contactmusic quoted the 'Gandhi' star as saying.

Kingsley also says that he does not have any plans to become a farmer himself, even thought he has a pet chicken named Ethel.

He insists that he loved the bird very much.

"She's very happy... and she gives me one or two eggs a day," he said.

And Kingsley also keeps his dear pet happy by playing with her.

"Her favourite trick is she greets me... and then she'll run towards me. She'll then turn her back towards me and then I will lift her up and throw her and she says, 'I'm flying, I'm flying, I'm flying,'" he said.

"Then she lands and runs back and says, `Do it again, do it again,'" he added.
