Washington, January 16 : Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez has cancelled her contract with her manager Irving Azoff, after an association of about one year.
The reason for their dissociation is yet unclear.
A representative for Lopez says that "she let him (Azoff) go on Friday with no drama", reports Contactmusic.
However, a tmz.com report suggests that Azoff has sacked Lopez for being "unprofessional", and for letting her husband Marc Anthony "constantly meddle" with her career.
Sources have revealed that Azoff sent Lopez a letter last week, mentioning what drove him to fire the singer.
This was reportedly followed by a "heated phone call" between Lopez's representatives and Azoff.
Azoff is well-known for the successes of supergroups the Eagles and Van Halen and British singer Seal.
