Britney Spears ex Kevin Federline is not gloating over the fact that she has lost custody of their sons, and is in fact hoping that the situation will one day be resolved.

Washington, Jan 15 : Britney Spears' ex Kevin Federline is not gloating over the fact that she has lost custody of their sons, and is in fact hoping that the situation will one day be resolved.

A Los Angeles Superior Court suspended Britney's visitation rights to her two sons - Sean Preston and Jayden James indefinitely after she failed to show up for the latest hearing.

K-Fed's lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan tells celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that neither K-Fed nor his legal team thought of the court's ruling as a 'victory'.

"The word victory is not something that Mister Federline nor his counsel would ascribe to the result of the court ruling today. There is no joyous feeling in this, this is a grave situation for everyone," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"At some point, it is Mister Federline's hope to parent the minor children with participation from the mother," he added.

The judge presiding over the custody battle between Spears and Federline said that an earlier order which suspended the singer's visitation rights to her two sons would remain in place until a further hearing on February 19.

Spears' visitation rights were suspended after she was at the center of a hospital drama on January 3.

She was wheeled out from her home by paramedics after refusing to hand over her sons to Federline under a custody agreement.

The singer was taken to the Cedars Sinai Medical Center for mental evaluation before she discharged herself two days later.
