Washington, Jan 14 : Actor Johnny Depp has compared British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen to legendary funny man Peter Sellers.
Depp, who is starring alongside Baron Cohen in the new movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street, admits that he was very impressed with the Borat star.
"He (Baron Cohen) was not what I expected. He's incredibly nice. A real gentleman, kind of elegant. He's kind of today's equivalent of Peter Sellers," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Sellers had been well known for his roles in the movies Dr. Strangelove, Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther films and Lolita. He passed away in 1980 but is still remembered as one of the greatest comedians.
