London, Jan 10 : Katie Holmes seems to have caught the marathon bug, for after taking part in the one in New York, she's getting ready to put on her running shoes once again.
The mum-of-one is getting set to run in the Boston marathon that takes place on April 21, 2008 and she's already started training for it.
A source revealed that the reason why the actress is so keen to run again is because she wants to better the time she set in the NYC marathon.
"Katie was really embarrassed that her time was so bad on the NY marathon [she finished in more than five hours] which was subsequently broadcast around the world," the Daily Snack quoted the source, as saying.
"She wants to improve her time and show that she can do it faster," the source added.
The source also added that Holmes' hubby Tom Cruise was being extremely supportive of her running, especially as Scientologists believe that "sweating cleans out the toxins".
