Washington, Jan 10 : The latest buzz around Hollywood is that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are heading for the altar.
According to reports received from the couple's friends, Gyllenhaal had proposed to Witherspoon during the couple's vacation in Rome, last October (07).
Witherspoon had at first said that she was not ready as yet, so soon after her split from ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, but had in the end agreed after she consulted with close friends."Not only were they (her friends) crazy about Jake, they could see he was absolutely nuts about her. But you've got to understand - Reese is a one-man woman who hates playing the field," Contactmusic quoted a pal as saying.
"When Jake proposed in Rome, he knew Reese needed time, and didn't really expect her to say 'yes' right away. He just wanted her to know that he was serious about their relationship - serious enough to make her his wife," the pal added.
Reese's eight-year marriage to Phillippe, ended with divorce on 5 October last year (07).
