Washington, January 10 : Actress Glenn Close has revealed that she was petrified of starring alongside Michael Douglas in 'Fatal Attraction' because he had become a famous celebrity in Hollywood circles in those days.
She says that the shooting for the 1987 thriller had a shaky start as she considered herself to be an incompatible match for Douglas.
"I was kind of intimidated by Michael Douglas when we started. He seemed so deeply Hollywood, a world that I wasn't a part of, and we didn't communicate well," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"But when we started working together it was great. We didn't exactly become friends, but we always enjoy it when our paths cross," she added.
