Status Quo to be immortalized in a tell-all movie

The rocking career of rock band Status Quo would soon be immortalized into a movie, it has been revealed.

London, Feb 9: The rocking career of rock band Status Quo would soon be immortalized into a movie, it has been revealed.

Established in 1962, the band, fronted by Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi, is famous for its dozens of chartbusters including Down Down and Rockin' All Over The World.

The script for the tell-all film is underway, and is expected to shed light on the 'boozing, drugs and sex' side of the band.

"The film will pull no punches. The highs and lows of their career will all go under the microscope, The Sun quoted a movie insider, as saying.

The team would start producing as soon as the final script gets ready, the source added.

According to the industry source, any actors playing the Quo need to look the part.

"Rhys Ifans would make an ideal Parfitt and Daniel Day-Lewis in white jeans and a pony-tail would look just like Rossi," the source said.

"The only snag is that Daniel is a renowned method actor who puts meticulous research into very complex roles. I'm not quite sure he would find the task of learning Quo songs on guitar challenging enough," the source added.
