Washington, Feb 9 : It's not just the psychiatrists that Britney Spears is consulting; the pop wreck has also sought the services of a hairdresser to help her with her tresses.
The 26-year-old called up Kim Vo, celebrity colourist and owner of Kim Vo, Beverly Hills and Kim Vo, in the Mirage in Las Vegas, the day after she checked out early from UCLA psych ward.
"Britney needed some help with her extensions and wanted to talk about a new color. I hadn't worked with her before, but they asked me so nicely to help," People quoted Vo, as saying.
After arriving at her home in the afternoon, Vo worked with Britney for about 4 hours in a spare bathroom.
He said that the troubled pop star was quite cordial with her and her behaviour did not reflect any of her so-called problems.
"She was more patient than I would have been. She was sweet and has that Southern hospitality... She offered me iced tea and asked if I was comfortable," said Vo.
Vo found her scalp and hair in great shape and said "her skin is glowing, like a young girl."
He streaked her dark brown locks with a caramel colour and said: "We wanted to brighten it up a bit. She's ready for something new."
Vo did not experience any kind of drama that has surrounded Spears and her family, and found the household quite normal.
"It's a peaceful home. It was not a rock-and-roll kind of place. Very classic and peaceful. She gave me a hug when I finished and both she and her mom told me how much they liked her new look," he said.
