Rajat Kapoors Mithy hits theaters

Rajat Kapoors third directorial venture Mithy, which is a comic thriller based on the underworld, was released in theatres across the country on Friday.

Mumbai, Feb 8 : Rajat Kapoor's third directorial venture Mithy, which is a comic thriller based on the underworld, was released in theatres across the country on Friday.

Rajat had earlier shown his directorial prowess in films like 'Raghu Romeo' and 'Mixed Doubles'. A multifaceted personality, Rajat has also acted in films like 'Monsoon Wedding', 'Dil Chahta Hai' and 'Bheja Fry' to name a few.

Produced by management guru Arindam Chaudhurin, the film stars Naseruddin Shah, Neha Dhupia, Ranvir Shorey and Harsh Chhaya besides many others.

Mithya is a story about destiny and its uniquely ironical ways. The film has a tinge of humour, drama, romance and suspense and promises to be a wholesome entertainer.

Speaking to the media during the premier of the movie last evening, Neha said that it is for first time that she has attempted cinema like this.

"I'm very confident that film will do well because it's a good movie. It's first time that I have attempted cinema like this. It's a very sensible cinema but this is defiantly one of my best films," said Neha.

Actor Ranvir Shorey was hopeful of the film doing well.

"A bit of nervousness is obvious and if you have worked hard in any movie you hope that it will do well. My hopes are attached to this film. I'm sure that it will do well," said Ranvir.
