Alba will speak nothing but Spanish to her baby

Pregnant actress Jessica Alba has revealed that she will only speak in Spanish when her baby is born later this year.

Washington, Feb 8 : Pregnant actress Jessica Alba has revealed that she will only speak in Spanish when her baby is born later this year.

The 26-year-old actress regrets not picking up the language of her grandparents as a child, for her father spoke only in English with her and her brother.

"I wish to God that my dad spoke Spanish to my brother and me, but he didn't grow up with it," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Alba is determined to master Spanish, so that she can speak the language to her baby.

"Hopefully I can pick it up because I want my kids to speak Spanish. I don't even want them to speak English for maybe the first two to three years, until pre-school," she said.

"We're in the United States so they're going to learn it anyway," she added.
