As for the amount, well that is about a cool 7 million dollars.
And even thought the 67-year old timeless heartthrob's management insisted that he had been "working far too hard in the recording studio" to do any such thing, it was confirmed that a policy was taken out at the renowned Lloyd's of London.
Underwriter John Thomas said that though it had been one of the most obscure requests he had catered to, nonetheless it had been true.
"Admittedly, this is one of the most obscure requests I've had - but I still came up with a wording that addressed the need," the New York Daily News quoted him, as saying.
Lloyd's of London has a history of catering to unusual celebrity request.
It has insured the legs of Fred Astaire, Angie Dickinson, and supermodel Heidi Klum, the hands of pianist Liberace and the fingers of Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards.
It is also said to have insured Jennifer Lopez's famous butt.
