Al Pacino may play Peter Sellers on West End

Hollywood actor Al Pacino may portray Peter Sellers in a new West End play about the late comedians life.

Washington, February 4 : Hollywood actor Al Pacino may portray Peter Sellers in a new West End play about the late comedian's life.

Playwright John Antrobus, who is a close friend of Pacino, has revealed that the actor has been very impressed by the script.

"We have been looking at some top, top names. The play is about Peter's last days. It is difficult to cast. We have been looking at some of the world's greatest actors," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"To play the real Sellers is not easy. (But) Al Pacino loved the script," he added.

Sellers, who died of heart attack in 1980, is one of Britain's most famous comedy icons.
