The wedding, which reportedly took place two months ago in India, marked the 66-year-old British actress' first marriage, reports the New York Post.
The actress finally tied the knot after having spent years shunning marriage, saying it did not fit in with her beliefs.
Meanwhile, Christie, who won an Oscar for her performance in the movie 'Darling' in 1965, has been nominated for Best Actress for her work in the 2007 film 'Away From Her.'
She has also starred in the movies 'Doctor Zhivago,' 'McCabe and Mrs. Miller,' 'Nashville' and 'Shampoo.'
