Whitney Houston set for comeback with performance at charity do

Whitney Houston will be making her comeback to the music biz when she gets on stage to perform her greatest hits for charity.

London, Feb 28 : Whitney Houston will be making her comeback to the music biz when she gets on stage to perform her greatest hits for charity.

The 'Bodyguard' star is planning to travel to London for the Caudwell Children's Legend Ball at Battersea Evolution on May 8.

Charity founder John Caudwell confirmed that Houston will be performing at the event, and hoped that it would raise more money than Tina Turner's performance last year which raised 1.2million pounds for disabled kids.

"We are thrilled to have an artist of Whitney's calibre to headline the event. Last year was a huge success and with Whitney's support, we are fully expecting this year's event to be bigger and better than ever," the Mirror quoted him, as saying.

And this will not be the only time fans get to hear her voice once again, for Houston is set to release a comeback album in November.

Sony BMG boss Clive Davis confirmed that the singer has already completed five songs, and that she has been working with big name producers.
