Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards insists that young people should refrain from using drugs.

Washington, Feb 28 : Rolling Stone guitarist Keith Richards insists that young people should refrain from using drugs.

Richards, himself a former drug addict, admits the substance is 'fascinating' but has urged kids to steer clear of drug abuse because 'it ain't worth it.'

"Lay off the dope. That's my advice now to all younger members who are into this kind of thing. I know the fascination but it ain't worth it," Contactmusic quoted British magazine Uncut, as saying.

The 64-year-old singer even gave Amy Winehouse a little piece of advice to tackle her drug addiction.

According to him, the troubled singer needs to get her act together.
