Washington, Feb 26 : Madonna made an appearance at the Beverly Hills Courthouse on Feb 25 to show up for jury duty, but was not chosen to sit on the panel.

After letting her hair down at Guy Oseary's Oscar after-party in Beverly Hills, the pop diva fronted court in dark sunglasses, wearing a brown Juicy Couture sweat suit over an Ed Hardy shirt.

The 49-year-old was officially permitted to leave after only one member of the jury was required and, along with the other jurors, she was dismissed.

Onlookers said that the singer looked exhausted and worn out, reports TMZ.

Madonna herself was overheard saying she "got three hours of sleep last night."

The pop star reportedly was co-host with actress Demi Moore at the Oscars after-party on Feb 24.
