On Feb 10 at Grammys after-party, Chris Brown had said that he and the 'Umbrella' hitmaker were just friends.
"We're just friends... We hang out," Us magazine quoted him, as saying then.
But two days later they were spotted walking hand-in-hand into a private room at L.A. hot spot Les Deux to celebrate Rihanna's 20th birthday party.
After the crowd - including guests Kanye West and Wilmer Valderrama - belted out "Happy Birthday," a witness revealed that Brown grabbed her and then kissed her.
"Chris stood up and serenaded her with his own version, and she was beaming. He grabbed her when the song was over and kissed her," the source said.
The source added that aside from Brown's friendly dance-off with Valderrama that night, he and Rihanna "constantly had their hands all over each other and were rarely apart."
